Eating like a Klingon : Worms galore

At the moment the hapless mealworm is starring in an ongoing and drooling quest for new sources of meat.

It is hoped that these creatures will at least be dead by the time they enter the human digestive system and not still wriggling like the serpent worms used for the delicay Gagh, which allows the Klingon 'gourmet' to feel death throes in mouth and stomach.

But then - why eat meat at all?
